Someone on Facebook was asking me about the Alicia Silverstone video of pre-chewing up her food and passing it into his mouth like a mama bird. I really love this response to the kerfuffle.
I totally do something similar to this when I’m eating something tough (crisp veggies or meat) that Alrik wants (particularly if I have nothing easier or just as healthful to offer). I chew it up a bit then take it out of my mouth and pop it in his. I don’t advertise that I’m doing it, because I instinctively understood that some people might think it’s weird. ;) But at the same time, it doesn’t seem that weird to me. Alrik and I share “germs” all the time.
